Feedback 09/18/2008

I just received my feedback from a speech I gave in Indianapolis a few weeks back.  The audience connected with the "Deliver on the Promise" message.  They got that it was important to follow through on your promises to customers, employees, vendors, and corporate culture.  What's really amazing is that these were not seasoned business people.  They were high school students!  If high school students can get it, why do so many businesses continue to over promise and under deliver?  This was a real eye opener. --josh

Have some feedback on Collegeboxes and the deliver on the promise message you are sending. I just had a significantly bad experience with CollegeBoxes. Went to order a supply kit for my daughter at George Washington University. It got sent to the wrong address and got returned to CollegBoxes. I was sent an email about having it redelivered. The $10 for redelivery is not the issue. I wanted to know what happened since the adress out on the site was correct. I talked to your operations VP and asked why it got sent to the wrong address since the address is correct out on the order site. He implied that I could have changed the address out on the site to the correct one. Honestly, I don't like my ethics being challenged when your company made the mistake. Not a good way to handle customer service.

Hi Mike. I am no longer with Collegeboxes. My partner and I sold the business in 2008. Sorry I can't be of more assistance. --Josh
